Barrio

This is a get well post to our friend Ryan. Please get healthy so that we don't have to make a R.I.P. post, too.

Recently our Hawaiian friend, Lindsay Warner (aka: Linda Warner), decided to pay a visit to the mother continent in order to keep tabs on all of her non-tongan friends. So we decided to make the most of her time here by paying homage to our Mexican heritage (Matthew is 1/8 dual Mexican citizen, and Linda claims to be an impressive 1/4 full blooded Mexican) by going to the our favorite restaurant in Phoenix, Barrio Cafe.

We made the most of the wait to be seated by roosting on all of the local stoops along 16th st. Oh, and Ryan blessed us by wearing Jordan 5's all night. Thank you.

Matthew contemplating a street drink

After getting intimate with the streets we decided that the best thing to do was to get the band back together. A while back Ryan, Lindsay, and Matthew started a screamo band called Apache Tears. We put in several long hours of practice, but ultimately, inner turmoil and a lack of talent (by Lindsay and Matthew) broke up the band. Fortunately, a new member was just the right ingredient to restore that Rock Band chemistry of old.

But sadly, this life of excess was a little too much for our BFF Ryan, and he was hospitalized by mid-morning. The doctors say that he should live.

Get better, friend.

Blaze of Glory

After listening to Bon Jovi's Blaze Of Glory on repeat I decided I needed to put on the tightest pants I owned and get to a mountain.

Need I say more? I think we have all been there.

The Hills Life

On monday night Matthew threw a tantrum like I have never witnessed. I have never witnessed a tantrum like this because I am usually the one throwing it. He nailed it, he moped around and felt bad for himself, he refused to come out and say what he actually meant, it was one of his most touching tributes to me and I had no other choice but to reward his foul behavior. The man was in a spiritual and existential funk and when that happens there is only one question to ask yourself, what would my girls from the Hills do? That's exactly right, we hit the CLUBS! On a school night no less and we stayed out waaaay past 11:00pm.

Here we are at Modified( the exact equivalent of Les Deux I have been told.)
Matthew wanting to drown his sorrows in another man's Tecate.

Here are some of the other clubbers( 12 in total) acting to emo for school.
Your typical hipster line up (I was just glad that I DID get the memo about gray shirts, so hot right now.)

A shot of the band we saw, Ruby Suns, they put on a good show but those vintage 90's swim trunks were the real show stopper, naturally.
