Car art in all of its magnificent forms fascinates me- vanity plates, stuffed animals on the dashboard, looney tunes stickers, antenna decorations and certainly custom vinyl stickers are no exception. The silhouettes of Satan disguised(but not so convincingly, because I can clearly see his tail and horns!) as a stripper and Satan wearing angel wings (and once again not very convincing because the angel looks like a stripper as well) are not new on the scene and seem to becoming more popular. But this Dodge truck was advertising more than just the objectification of women, it had a message. Live the Life!
if only we had seen that inspirational window sticker earlier perhaps we would have hung that same motto above our bed, maybe our initials can serve as a reminder of what kind of life we want to live.
and watching lots of Olympic ceremonies is what are lives have been all about these days.
Our ratios of naughty and nice may be lacking, but part of me has to believe that at least one of the things documented here are part of what that guy had in mind when he commissioned that sticker.
Live the Life!

i love your bedroom decor! you will have to help steve and i decorate. i just bought some curtains at a thrift store, and im afraid our living room now shares unfavorable qualities of the relief society room.
Or you could just listen to Coldplay and Viva la Vida, almost the same thing, right? I love those stickers SO MUCH!!!
Love the decor, and the smores, and the gossip zines. mostly I love you. come visit me?? or just buy things for me at anthroplogie if that's not possible...
Bedroom, super cute. Rug, where did you get it?
If you really love car embellishments as much as you claim, Hong Kong is the place for you! This is a city that loves its trinkets. I have seen really nice cars' dashboards covered in figurines. Golden statues (in multiples) will cover one section and then the same 5 Hello Kitty dolls will cover another section, until the entire dashboard is glamorized! It is really impressive! I have yet to see such amazing life mottos covering windows though. Only in America.
Hope you both are loving your first week at school, and the long commutes, linds!!!!?
You're decor is lookin' hot - & you are too! Clearly Anthropologie is great for you & your family members. Looking forward to the family benefits!
Correction **First week of school pics. I had a feeling we'd get caught.
you better believe thats the marathon im goin for! i think my sis wants to run it with us too, to make us all feel bad about ourselves. just kiddin. but shes like running the boston marathon i think in oct. so im sure i will feel bad about myself.
Love the drapes in your bedroom, or should I say boudoir? Your hair too is sassy - one your way to Argentina come visit us in Caracas - or better yet, come when your sister(s) is here and knock out all birds with one stone!
I'm so glad someone decided to adress the angel and devil phenomenon. We laugh so hard and compete for the "perviest" car stickers. In high school Jenna and Stacie would buy the most repulsive stickers and give them to each other as gifts.
